Ramadan across our branches: 16,400 iftar meals on the highways, 101 brides, new desalination stations in Sinai and Quran memorisers honoured.
Highlights from March and April 2023, covering Ramadan (full details in Arabic):
- 140 medical cases, 101 brides prepared for marriage, 428 monthly aid cases and 598 families and debtors given financial help.
- 16,400 iftar meals handed out on the coastal and Mansoura highways during Ramadan and 13,050 suhoor meals, plus an orphans’ day with a group iftar for 700 people.
- Four desalination stations in Bir al-Abd and Sheikh Zuweid (22 stations so far this year) and 22 wells repaired and restarted with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
- 300 Quran memorisers honoured in Al-Saff and Atfih and 150 in 6th of October; 33 model mothers honoured.
- 16 homes roofed and furnished in Badrashin, Eid clothes for 215 orphans, and a clothes fair handing out 15,570 pieces.

Al-Birr wal-Taqwa model home for the elderly and Alzheimer's patients
The Governor of Damietta visited the home in New Damietta on Eid al-Adha, where sacrifice meat was distributed to residents.
