Highlights from January 2023 (full details in Arabic):
- 650 humanitarian cases helped across all branches: 170 medical cases, 10 brides, 418 monthly aid cases and 40 debt relief cases.
- Al-Birr Hospital opened its laboratory and prepared two operating suites; finishing works continued at the Atfih hospital.
- 45 water connections, a new 10 m³ station in Beni Suef and two stations in Minya (18 stations in total).
- Blankets, clothes, meals and food bags distributed by the Damietta, Salam, Ain Shams, October, Abu Zaabal, Giza and Hadayek Al-Ahram branches.
- A medical convoy, a North Sinai convoy with Tahya Misr Fund (6,000 food boxes and 9 tonnes of meat) and an Edfu convoy.

Al-Birr wal-Taqwa model home for the elderly and Alzheimer's patients
The Governor of Damietta visited the home in New Damietta on Eid al-Adha, where sacrifice meat was distributed to residents.
Al-Birr Specialized Hospital opens in Basarta
As part of Damietta's National Day celebrations, Al-Birr Specialized Hospital opened in Basarta with outpatient clinics, wards, radiology, operating rooms and a neonatal unit.
