A summary of the association’s work in 2022 (the full report is in Arabic):
- Health: Al-Birr Hospital in Damietta completed its laboratory, radiology, clinics, sterilisation, ICU and incubators; work continued on the Atfih hospital; help with 1,420 surgeries and about 4,000 patients.
- Mosques and Quran: 131 mosques built to date, 30+ restored, about 93 Quran schools and hundreds of memorisers honoured.
- Water: 35 desalination stations, 635 wells, 1,200 water connections and 4,000 water coolers.
- Education: school fees for more than 3,000 students, 340 literacy classes and support for 2,995 families.
- Convoys: 40 convoys, including Halayeb and Shalateen and Central Sinai.
- Housing: 500 roofs, homes rebuilt in Fayoum, Luxor, Aswan and Saqqara, and 2,500 homes furnished with the state.
- Seasons: about 700,000 Ramadan food boxes, 7,000 hot meals a day and 4,000 Eid sacrifices.

Al-Birr wal-Taqwa model home for the elderly and Alzheimer's patients
The Governor of Damietta visited the home in New Damietta on Eid al-Adha, where sacrifice meat was distributed to residents.
Al-Birr Specialized Hospital opens in Basarta
As part of Damietta's National Day celebrations, Al-Birr Specialized Hospital opened in Basarta with outpatient clinics, wards, radiology, operating rooms and a neonatal unit.
