Memorise the whole Quran in 60 days
An intensive course for children aged 8 to 15 in Damietta and Dakahlia to memorise the whole Quran, supervised by Al-Azhar.
- 100 students per course, from 1 June to 30 August (two months of memorising and one of revision).
- Each student memorises 20 pages a day; every teacher looks after 10 students, and meals are provided.
- Admission is by an Al-Azhar test for children who already know at least two parts.
- One student costs EGP 6,000 and a full course EGP 600,000. There is no minimum gift.
We have honoured 27 children who finished in under 60 days.
Quran schools
About 93 Quran schools for all ages run year-round under the Ministry of Awqaf and Al-Azhar. We are also building a Quran school and women’s prayer hall in Naqada, Qena, for about EGP 500,000.
