Artesian wells to irrigate Sinai farmland

Artesian wells are for irrigating farmland only (not for drinking) where water is hard to reach. Our wells in Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid helped families plant about 40,000 olive trees, and 100 more wells are needed to bring 10,000 feddans back into cultivation.

• A well costs EGP 400,000 and irrigates 20 feddans.
• A share is EGP 40,000 (10 shares per well); each full share puts one name on the plaque.
• We photograph the finished well and send it to the donors; work starts once the shares are complete.
• Any amount is welcome.
