Aqiqa, vows and thanksgiving sacrifice
A local sacrifice shared among the poor (you may keep a third), or an aqiqa in Mali and Tanzania for less.
- Aqiqa: the sacrifice for a newborn. Nadhr: a charity one has vowed. Fidu: a sacrifice to feed the poor in thanks to God.
In Egypt (slaughter, packing and distribution included)
- Goat (30 kg): EGP 10,000 — 10–13 kg of meat
- Local sheep (50 kg): EGP 15,000 — 20–25 kg of meat
- Barqi sheep (60 kg): EGP 20,000 — 30–35 kg of meat
- Local calf: the price changes daily — call us for today’s price.
You may keep a third, and we can film the slaughter if you wish. Prices follow the market.
In Africa (Mali and Tanzania)
- Sheep EGP 4,500 — goat EGP 3,500; all the meat is distributed there and no filming is possible.
